Position Overview

We are looking for a Head of Corporate Development to join our team. Monk’s Hill Ventures is a leading venture capital firm that invests in early-stage technology companies across Southeast Asia. We are entrepreneurs backing great entrepreneurs who use technology to improve the lives of millions of people in the region.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our portfolio companies. You will partner with founders and their teams post-investment to help promising regional startups grow. Primarily, you will work closely with our portfolio companies to effectively scale strategic and financial planning processes. This includes but is not limited to developing strategic objectives to ensure successful fundraising for future operations and growth.  The success of this role will be tangibly measured by the efficiency, speed and quality of the fundraising process. A bit about our culture: all senior members of our investment team have previous experience in investing, startups and significant operational experience - we believe in having great empathy for the people we invest in, and “earning the right to invest”. Our environment is fast-paced and high-output. Our team values thoughtfulness, a get-it-done attitude, grit, resilience and strong interpersonal skills. A sense of humour and the ability to see the silver lining when the going gets tough is a nice complement.
